Lectors assist in the proclamation of Sacred Scripture during the Liturgy. A lector must have a passion for Scripture and be proficient in public speaking. Training is required and will be provided for those who would like to serve in this ministry.

Altar Servers assist the priest and deacon in the celebration of Sunday Mass, funerals, weddings, and other liturgies. Altar Serves range in age from 4th grade up to college age. Adult servers are used sometimes for weekdays and funeral masses. Training is required and will be provided for those who would like to serve in this ministry.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist with the distribution of the Eucharist at Masses when the amount of people to receive requires. They must be 18 years of age, have received the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Catholic Church, and attend mass regularly even when not scheduled. Training is required and will be provided for those who would like to serve in this ministry.

Extraordinary Ministers for the homebound visit and bring Holy Communion to those in need. The duties of an Extraordinary Minister for the Homebound may also include phone calls, writing notes and/or cards, and staying connected with our homebound parishioners.

The Gardening Committee serves to plant and maintain the landscaping. The duties for this committee include: watering, deadheading, weed whacking, weeding, trimming the bushes, edging, mulching, separating plants, and Spring/Fall clean-up.

The Welcome Desk, located in the Kennedy Room, is an extension of the parish office as well as a place for parishioners and visitors to be greeted by parish volunteers. It is open before and after weekend masses. Volunteers can help answer parishioners' questions regarding upcoming events, ministries, sacramental preparation, prayer intentions, mass cards, etc.
